Designed by competition organisers, for event day
ScoreBX was built by people who actually run competitions, so it focuses on the problems that show up on the day: late entries, judges who need a simple screen, divisions that must stay separate, and a crowd that wants results now. Screens are kept concise and operator-focused, with setup readiness checks so you can see what still needs attention before the doors open.
One app for the whole competition, not just the maths
Most organisers start with a spreadsheet and a lot of goodwill. It works until the athlete list changes the night before, a judge hands in a score sheet with the wrong bib number, or the final needs to count double. A scoring app should take that pressure off, not add another tool to manage.
ScoreBX covers the full flow: create the competition, add divisions, import athletes, configure events, enter scores and publish results. Because everything lives in one place, a change in one step is reflected everywhere else automatically.
Works for more than one kind of event
The same app supports different competition styles because scoring is configured per event rather than hard-coded. Use it for local functional fitness throwdowns, HYROX-style hybrid racing formats, strongman and lifting meets, team series and multi-division events.
- Functional fitness throwdowns
- HYROX-style hybrid races
- Strongman and lifting competitions
- Team and pairs events
- Multi-division events
- Any event scored by time, reps, weight, distance, calories or points
Athlete management that survives registration changes
Import your registration list by CSV and map the columns to ScoreBX fields. Problems such as duplicate bib numbers, missing names or odd values are flagged in the import screen so you can correct or skip rows before saving. You can also add, edit or withdraw athletes by hand at any point.
Divisions keep rankings separate, so Rx, Scaled, Masters and Teens athletes are only ranked against their own division.
Score from the desk or from the floor
Enter scores centrally from a laptop at the scoring table, or let judges and scorekeepers enter them from their phones using mobile scorekeeper mode. Either way, ScoreBX validates the entry against the event's configuration and ranks it straight away.
If your event runs in waves, turn on heats and lanes to organise the running order. If it doesn't, leave them off — they are optional.
Flexible scoring without a rulebook rewrite
Pick position scoring, fixed-gap or variable-gap points, or build a custom points table. Add ordered tiebreakers, weight events with multipliers, and apply penalties that keep the original score in the audit history. The detail of how workouts are scored is covered on our functional fitness scoring page.
Results people can actually follow
Publish a branded public leaderboard that athletes and spectators open on their phones, and show standings on a venue TV. Events can be Hidden, Live or Final so results only go public when you are ready.
Pricing that matches how competitions work
Competitions are one-off, so pricing is too. Build and test with up to 20 athletes for free, then buy a single Event Pass for that competition when you are ready to go live. If your entries grow, upgrade and pay only the difference.
